Sanitation installations and gas installations in Preschool

The experimental part is focused on water flows, pre-school facilities. The development of the birth rate and preschool education in the Czech Republic after 1950 Abstract The main aim of the thesis is to map in detail the development of preschool education and financial support for families with children in the Czech Republic in the context of the development of birth rate after 1950. The development of birth rate in the thesis is not only analyzed by using basic indicators, but also through deeper decomposition methods. It turns out, that quality and availability of all network preschool institutions in the context has a certain role in the birth rate. The reconciliation of work and family is very important for lots of parents and sufficient offer of preschool care can help it. However, the demand for preschool institutions exceeded supply, as was shown in accordance with obtained data. It was also found out by the insight into the outcomes of surveys that the vast majority of respondents do not think that a preschool child of working mother would be suffering. In the future, should not only expand the capacity of childcare facilities as well as other options for facilitation of reconciling work and family life, such as better offer of flexible working hours. The diploma work was focused on determining the situation with training of educational workers involved in logopaedic care among children of preschool age, what cooperation is like with professional institutions in this area, what teaching methods preschool educators use in work with children and what kind of care kindergartens provide in relation to the development of speech skills. Czech for Foreigners in the Preschool Education Institutions

v anglickém jazyce The present M.A. thesis deals with teaching the Czech for foreigners in the preschool education institution. The work with the preschool children is connected with lots of specifics and thus it requires teacherʼs special attitude towards their very young learners. Children- foreigners often come from families, where nobody speaks Czech and their vocabulary is very restricted. Therefore, their inclusion into the Czech educational environment is not easy. In the theoretical part, at first we will focus on analysis of curriculum documents for preschool education, particularly with regard to children-foreigners. Afterwards, we will pay oneʼs attention to possibilities of support of integration of children-foreigners during education in Czech preschool institutions. After that, we will outline the aspects accompanying foreigners' integration into teaching and theoretical ways for child-foreigners integration process. At the end of the theoretical part, we characterize group and individual courses. Two case studies are subject of the empirical part and they contain the complex analysis of situation of children-foreigners in selected preschool institutions.
Pre-school childcare services in the Czech Republic as a tool for successful reconciling work and family

Diploma thesis "Služby péče o předškolní děti v České republice jako nástroj úspěšného slaďování práce a rodiny" evaluates the current system of pre-school childcare services in the Czech Republic as a tool for a successful reconciling work and family and tries to recommend particular steps that would contribute to improve the functioning of the system in the future. Within the current system evaluation, on the one hand, the aspects, which contribute to the functionality of the system were identified, but on the other hand, some of the deficiencies which may limit the functionality of the system were detected. Afterwards, the study devoted to the shortcomings in detail and to detecting their causes, which allow to think about the next steps in the future. To develop a new conception of family policy with the aim of removing shortcomings of the current system is presented as the main recommendations for the future. When working on a new concept, a discussion among all the actors who play the role in the current system of pre- school childcare services should take place, the recommendations of supra- national and international bodies and non-profit organizations should be taken into account and inspiration for specific measures should be taken from examples of good practice from abroad.

Offer and composition of meals for children in nursery schools.

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on nutrition of children in preschools. Here, children eat a mid-morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. This equals to 60% of their daily intake. Healthy development of children requires the food compliant with nutrition standards for preschool children. Hence, the Consumption Basket was introduced by the Decree No. 107/2005 Coll., on school meals. To facilitate menu creation, nutrient recommendations with frequency of meals were issued by the Ministry of Health. Submitted thesis pursues three objectives: To analyse whether the consumption basket of selected preschools meets requirements defined by the decree, to focus on the level of adherence of preschools to recommendations defined by the Ministry of Health and to reveal whether the energy value of randomly chosen four-day menus and their content of individual nutrients meet the needs of a child from a particular age group. The practical part processes four-week period's menus to observe whether the school canteen follows recommended frequency of meals. It also analyses resultant consumption baskets of selected canteens to reveal whether they follow the consumption basket content. And finally, it uses recipes and foodstuff types obtained from four randomly selected days of a particular month. Obtained data were processed in a Nutriservis program to learn whether the energy value of the menus and content of individual nutrients meet the needs of a preschool child. Results showed that two of the canteens did not meet the consumption basket criteria. They also showed the level of adherence of school canteens to the nutrient recommendations and defined room for improvement. Regarding capability of meals in preschools to meet the needs of preschool children, nutrient intake was revealed to be higher - sometimes even higher than overall daily intake. However, it is necessary to note that neither the exact amount of served food was considered nor the amount of leftovers was subtracted.
Children's Group as an Alternative Care Service for Preschool Children

The bachelor thesis focuses on the children's group as an alternative care service for pre-school children, in which two main goals were set. The first aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out what is the care of children in selected children groups in the South Bohemian Region. The second objective was to find out how the parents are satisfied with the service of children's groups and why they choose this alternative. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters, the first dealing with the history of the origin and development of pre-school institutions. The second chapter deals with other child care services from 1 year to 7 years in the Czech Republic. The third chapter explains in detail how the children's group works and what it has to fulfil. In the practical part, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research was used. A semi-structured interview was conducted with the leaders of each children's group. A questionnaire was created for the parents whose children attend these facilities, and it was sent in bulk by the informants. The information obtained was elaborated in the form of mind maps, tables and graphs. The results of this work may be useful for the idea of running children's groups within the South Bohemian Region. They can be used by current or future employees in children's groups, parents using this service, or those who decide to include children in a children's group. Furthermore, students of pedagogical disciplines and also the general public may increase their awareness of this service.
